OVERVIEW
TOROPCKLEはトロピカルフルーツのピクルスとフルーツトマトを使用した、マイルドでフルーティなサルサソースです。辛いものや香りの強いものが苦手な方でもメキシコ料理を楽しめるように作成しました。メインターゲットは１０～２０歳男女です。留学先であるサンディエゴはメキシコ料理が有名ですが、辛さとパクチーの香りが理由で食べられない留学生仲間が多かったことから着想を得ました。「オリジナルフォントロゴと使用例の作成」が元の課題です。
TOROPICKLE is fruity and mild sauce that combines tropical pickles and tomatoes. I decided to make this salsa for people who people who prefer milder, and more delicate flavor. The main target is people in the 20 to 30. This idea came to me after seeing how many of my friends struggle with eating spicy Mexican food and prefer milder spices.
SOLUTION
メキシコの陽気な雰囲気と太陽の下で育った新鮮でみずみずしいフルーツをイメージし、「トロピカル」で「ハッピー」なデザインに仕上げました。メキシコをイメージしたオリジナルフォントでロゴを作成しました。バイブラントなカラーと、メキシコ刺繍にインスパイアされた模様が特徴です。カラーと模様は３つそれぞれのフレーバーにちなんで選びました。メインターゲットの興味を引くようなキャッチーな名前を付けたいと考え、TROPICALとPICKLESを掛け合わせてTROPICKLEと名付けました。
I was inspired by zesty and fresh fruits which I can describe as a sunny day where it brightens everybody says smile. I made the font for the logo because I want to capture the authentic Mexican typography. The label consists of a tropical and happy design which has vibrant color and the pattern inspired by Mexican embroidery. The color and pattern represent the flavors. I named it TROPICKLE because it would attract attention to people who enjoys tropical themes.
